Terms of service

Waypoint is a service of Codified LLC (“Codified”, “we”). These terms cover your use of Waypoint at waypoint.codified.dev, its live links, and related services. By creating an account you agree to them.

Your account

You need a valid email address to sign in. Keep access to that inbox secure: anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You’re responsible for activity in your workspace, including by people you invite.

Your content

You own the projects, tasks and other data you bring to Waypoint. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only as needed to run the service for you, including showing it on live links in the way you configure. You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload.

Live links

A live link can be opened by anyone who has the address, without signing in. You choose which details it shows, and you can rename or turn it off at any time. Owners, notes and internal IDs are never shown on live links. Don’t put information on a live link that you wouldn’t want shared.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Waypoint to break the law, infringe others’ rights, send spam, distribute malware, probe or overload our systems, or try to access data that isn’t yours. We may suspend accounts that do.

Plans, trials and billing

New workspaces get a 14-day trial of Pro features without a card. When it ends, the workspace moves to the Free plan unless you choose a paid plan; nothing is deleted, but projects beyond your plan’s limit become read-only and their live links pause until you archive projects or upgrade. Paid plans are billed through Stripe and renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. If you choose a paid plan during the trial with more than two days left, your first charge happens when the trial ends. You can cancel any time in Settings → Billing; access continues until the end of the paid period. Upgrades take effect right away and are charged the prorated difference; downgrades take effect at the next renewal. Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice before your next renewal. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Integrations

When you connect a sheet, file or another tool, Waypoint reads only what it needs to build your project. Third-party services are governed by their own terms.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Waypoint fast and available, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We may add, change or remove features. If we discontinue Waypoint, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice and a way to export your projects.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Codified isn’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Waypoint in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending your use

You can stop using Waypoint and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for violations of these terms.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA. If we change them materially, we’ll notify you by email or in the app before the change takes effect.
